This study investigated users satisfaction towards academic library information resourcesrnfacilities and services at Lagos State Polytechnic Library. The specific objectives of the studyrnwere: To determine level of access usage satisfaction users derived from the resourcesrnservices and facilities used in Lagos State Polytechnic library South Western Nigeria andrnidentified challenges faced by users in course of using the library. The study employedrnquantitative research method using cross-sectional survey design. Self-developedrnquestionnaire was the instruments used to collect data. and the cronbachs alpha coefficient ofrnall the variables of this study was between 0.741 to 0.850. The population of the study consistedrnof four hundred and fourteen. Questionnaires were administered and one hundred and eightyrnnine were returned and one hundred and fourteen were found useful. Data were analyzed usingrndescriptive and inferential statistics and Normality test was conducted to determine the levelrnof the variables of the study. Findings of the study revealed that majority of the respondentsrnhad access to information resources services and facilities that were available rn3.503.00 the respondents highly utilized some of the information resources and servicesrnavailable in the libraries 14.163.00 majority of the users were satisfied with the qualityrnof the library services resources and facilities provided by the polytechnics 3.443.00rnFindings of the study revealed that despites the fact that the students observed some challengesrnlike Poor Internet connectivity 4.023.00 they were not totally dissatisfied with thernlibrary. The study concluded that ease of access to available information resources servicesrnand facilities as well as the quality of the services and facilities provided contributed positivelyrnto the use of library and the satisfaction so derived from it use by the users. The studyrntherefore recommends among others continuous training and retraining of library staff shouldrnbe given adequate attention.
